Dear Cita’s Salsa & Kitchen fans, friends, & family:
We are heartbroken to share that we are seriously behind on our rent and have been locked out of our space. We have had many setbacks in 2024 from a power outage, price increases on just about everything, plumbing repairs, you know: small business problems. Our landlord has been patient and understanding with us up until now, but rent is due and we are short again. Still, we remain hopeful that we can come to a resolution and re-open as we try and catch up within the next few months.
It has always been such a pleasure to serve y’all over the years and we just can’t imagine our daily lives without sharing our love of salsas and cooking with our neighbors right here in East Dallas and all over the metroplex. It has been tough and will continue to be tough these upcoming months, but we see a light at the end of the tunnel and just need a little help getting to it. We’re not ready to give up on this! From the start in 2011, we have invested our own family’s money without outside investors and have poured our heart and soul into this dream, and we know that there’s still a lot of fight left in us. We know these times can be tough for many people right now, but if you’re able to donate to our cause and show that we have the best and most loyal customers in the world, we will be setting up a GoFundMe account. Help us show our landlord that we are a vital part of our community and deserve another chance to bounce back in 2025.
