IT'S CRUNCH TIME TO SAVE Citybikes.

We are getting close, but Bob Kamzelski of Bantam Bicycles and his two accomplices are still digging in their heels.

THIS is what Citybikes has done and has meant for most of its years serving Portland. LET'S GET IT BACK!

Can you lend some support to cover the legal costs to stop this scheme and bring Citybikes back to health? We'll make a Thank You Plaque honoring those who pitched in to bring Citybikes back to full function.

Among other violations, the guilty parties have 1) not worked the minimum required hours in 2021 and 2022, 2) have refused to participate in required meetings, and 3) have failed to adequately staff the shop.

Between past and current owners, we've spent over $10K to get close to the finish line. We are tapped out! Thanks for YOUR help in getting this over the finish line.

Co-ops are designed to be run democratically, not autocratically. It requires more skills and investment than 'punching the clock' or acting autocratically. Restructuring Citybikes to protect her from future abuses is a top priority and promise to our community.

Thank you for 1) sending what you can and 2) inviting your friends to join you. We welcome and can assist any creative fundraising ideas you have.

Here are a few other ways to help save Citybikes:

1. Contact the shop. Send "Please abandon Bob and join Noel in saving Citybikes" support letters to both Bryce and Claire. These are the four owners: Bob, Noel, Bryce and Claire, and where they stand. You can call in your message to 503/239/0553 (ONLY if you're nice) or customerservice at citybikes.coop. 2. Leave a note on our online petition. As of 8.22.22 it's a new petition. Old one was hacked into. Petition #1 had over 50 signatures... Reboot!

3. Support the campaign through facebook, twitter or Instagram.

4. Print off a few flyers to post in your neighborhood.

5. Email us at comm.to.save.citybikes at gmail for anything else.
