Save Cornbread the Cat!

Donation protected
Hi my name is Rachel. I have the honor of being friends with Kayla and her heart cat Cornbread. He has been a lifesaver in her life and now needs us to help him. Got this update from her today:
Saturday started to notice my cat was behaving differently. He was lethargic and tired, he seemed to be shaking a little when I held him. Saturday evening I quarantined him and noticed he wasn't eating or drinking as much.

Sunday i started to become worried about a bladder obstruction as he wasn't urinating since Saturday night and was still very lethargic. He has mostly stayed in one spot. Eating and drinking in very small amounts. I took him into the emergency vet Sunday afternoon.

The emergency room vet did lab work, ultrasound, xray and urinalysis all of which came back without anything abnormal showing up. He has no sneezing/wheezing/breathing issues. No bathroom issues. Just a 104 fever and lethargy.

Monday brought him to normal vet who gave subq fluids, antibiotics and pain medicine and said if it doesn't get better in a few days he wants to admit and do further testing..he said if it doesn't improve it could be FIP.

We foster animals, I have always been very good about quarantine practices but I know there is always a possibility. We haven't had any new fosters in a month, and none that we know have been sick.

These funds cover his ER bill, follow up, and FIP treatment.
