PUPPIES AND PALS!!!

Hello, my name is Arthur Pinkos and I am doing my mitzvah project by raising money for Best Friends Animal Society, which is a charity that gives a second chance to dogs and cats around America. Their goal for 2025 is to have 100% of shelters be No-kill.

I chose this charity because I love dogs. I have two at home, and I love when they sleep on my lap and ask for belly rubs. I came across Best Friends when my family watched the movie "Arthur The King." The movie is based on a true story about a stray dog, who is named Arthur, that follows a guy, Mikael, on a race through the jungle of Ecuador, following Mikael's team over cliffs, rivers, and mountains. At the end of the movie, Mikael wants to bring Arthur home, but before he can, they face a lot of issues getting Arthur from one country to another. Mikael started The Arthur Foundation in 2015 in support of rehabilitating wild animals and supporting animal welfare rights around the world. So help me raise money to support these animals, by donating money to my swim! I will be swimming laps in February (date TBD) for 45 minutes where you can donate money per minute (suggested donation of $1 per minute) or any flat dollar amount.
