LIFESAVING HELP URGENTLY NEEDED TO SAVE DONNY!
Donny is a Draft Quarterhorse cross...and is in big trouble.
A vet visit revealed Donny has a free-floating lipoma tumor in his gut. This is extremely dangerous! If not removed, it will eventually find its way to one of Donny's organs, causing strangulation of the organ and unbearable pain. If this happens, there will be no way to save him. Without surgery, Donny will die. He needs help immediately!
We are Gerda's Equine Rescue in West Townshend, Vermont. Over 20 years, we've saved over a thousand horses like Donny...most of them from the slaughter pipeline for human consumption.
We also rescue horses from abuse, severe neglect, and other disastrous situations. We restore them to health in body and soul, with the goal of adopting them into safe, loving, permanent homes.
We want this for Donny, too...but we urgently need your help so he can enjoy the full, happy life he deserves.
Funds are needed NOW to save Donny! His surgery will cost $5,000, transport to and from the out-of-state clinic $1,200, and aftercare and vet visits another $500.
