Save Doodle: Help with Medical Costs
Donation protected
Hello!
This past week, our charming & brain cell challenged orange cat Doodle had serious trouble breathing due to a lung infection and a grave asthma problem that we didnt know he had. Cats are very good at hiding what makes them suffer until it is almost too late. We were given the choice by the vet to either put him down (in kinder words) or to spend a few thousand dollars to attempt to save his life. We have chosen to save it, despite the financial burden, because he's really damn cute (as you can see above) and we love him very much. He is currently at home and being given several medications every day.
The cost to do so was $4699.20, not including refills or future medication regimens. We are a household of 2 humans and 2 cats, but there is only 1 job between us at this time - I got laid off this year and we are in need of financial help (the cats refuse to get a job for some reason). Any amount raised above the total of the bill will go towards his continual medication regimen and checkups, and any amount raised beyond that will frankly be helpful for groceries and bills because we are broke. We love our Doodle and would be greatly appreciative of any dollar we receive - if you can't donate, we would still appreciate a share. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. Nobody should have to put their pet down just because they cannot afford to keep them alive.
