Save Ebisu Circuit

At 11:07PM on February 14th local time in Japan, a 7.3 magnitude earthquake shook the seafloor just off the coast of Fukushima. Unfortunately Ebisu Circuit was directly affected by the earthquake & sustained heavy damage. Drift Land collapsed & a massive landslide took out everything in its path. It destroyed buildings & parts of Nishi course all the way down to KuruKuru land. Besides this, most of the other tracks and the safari park have also sustained damage caused by the earthquake.
Ebisu Circuit really needs your help to be able to clean up and repair all the damage caused by the earthquake. Ebisu also wants to make improvements to prevent more damage like this happening again incase of another earthquake.
During 2020 COVID had a direct impact on the income for the circuit as foreign visitors were not able to come and locals were also scarce due to the virus.
Currently the estimated cost to repair all the damage is over 2 million dollars USD but this number is expected to increase as the repairs continue and unforeseen expenses or more damage is expected to be found.
Ebisu Circuit cannot do this on their own & they are asking for your support & help to raise the funds needed to save Ebisu circuit and secure its future.
This campaign is created with the full permission of Nobushige Kumakubo, the owner of Ebisu Circuit. If you have any doubts you can confirm via the official Ebisu Circuit website & twitter: https://www.ebisu-circuit.com/ https://twitter.com/ebisu_circuit
This campaign was organized by SAMMIT and SideX Japan and has been hosted by Adam LZ as a means to create an easy and safe way to raise funds for Ebisu Circuit. Japanese crowdfunding sites are difficult for foreigners to use being all in Japanese & their payment options require you to be a Japanese resident.
All funds raised minus the transaction fees charged by GoFundMe will go directly to Nobushige Kumakubo & the Ebisu Circuit account via international wire transfer from Adam’s account. All transactions will be100% transparent & posted here so that everyone can see that the money is going to the right place.
We are hoping to be able to transfer all the funds raised by the end of this month march, but the campaign could be ongoing longer if needed. Kumakubo san is also looking into constructing a wall at Nishi course with everyone's name on it that donates. This will be confirmed with an update this week.
