Call to all Ethiopians/Friends of Ethiopia,

As trustees and board members of the Ethiopian Community in Britain (ECB), we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt appeal. We are spearheading a crucial fundraising campaign to ensure the sustained existence and functionality of ECB, a place that holds immense sentimental value for our community.

ECB has been a witness to countless memories – from joyous celebrations like christenings and weddings to the warmth of community get-togethers. It stands as more than just a physical space; it is a symbol of cultural preservation, unity, and support.

Our commitment to creating a positive impact within the community drives us to launch this fundraising campaign, recognising the power of collective efforts. The funds we aim to secure, with your invaluable support, will play a pivotal role in sustaining ECB.

We have launched this GoFundMe for donations up until our fundraising event. Our currently situation not only poses a threat to the continuation of services but also the closure of the centre.

The primary goal of this campaign is to raise £30,000 for building rent and £20,000 for repair and maintenance work, along with covering the day-to-day management expenses. These funds are essential for maintaining the physical infrastructure of ECB, ensuring its safety, and continuing to provide a welcoming space for all community members.

የኢትዮጲያ ኮሚኒቲ በዩናይትድ ኪንግደም ላለፉት 40 አመታት በስሙ ተመዝግቦ ሲገለገልበት ያለው ሕንፃ እስከመነጠቅ ላጋጠመው ችግርና እዳ በአዲስ መልክ የተቋቋመው የኮሚኒቲው ቦርድም ይህንን ችግር ለመፍታት እንዲያስችለውና ተያያዥ ጉዳዬችን ለማስፈፀም እንዲረዳው የገንዘብ ድጋፍ እየጠየቀ ከዚህ በታች በተከፈተው የገንዘብ ማሰባሰቢያ የጎፈንድሚ(GOFUNDME) አካውንት የገንዘብ እርዳታ እንድታደርጉልን ትብብራችሁን በአክብሮት እንጠይቃለን
