Hello,
I am Mohammad Abu Samra, living in America. I am organizing this campaign to help my friend Ahmed, his wife Iman, and their children Reem, Kareem, and Rahaf, who are displaced in the Deir al-Balah camp.
Follow their story in the lines below.
**About Ahmed:**
A computer engineer and father of three children.
I worked as a web developer for several large projects for major companies and entities for more than ten years.
But I lost my job after the war, repeated displacement, loss of security and peace, and most importantly, the frequent power and internet outages.

**About my wife Iman:**
In addition to being a loving mother who wants the best for her children, she is a mathematics teacher. She had her own online teaching business on the Faheem platform and received high ratings in a very short time. At the same time, she was a skilled content writer for several projects in Arab countries.
However, this harsh war took away these precious opportunities from her.

**About my children:**
**Reem:**
A smart nine-year-old girl. She loves reading, drawing, and coloring.
The war changed her life from being filled with school, play, and fun to a tiring life of fetching water in the morning and evening, standing in long bread lines, and walking long distances to charge phones and heavy batteries.
She suffered from hepatitis for more than two weeks during the war, experienced severe weight loss, and had recurrent gastrointestinal infections due to reliance on canned food, limited vegetables, lack of fruit, and various contaminants.
Recently, she has become silent, crying all the time, and no longer participates in fetching water or any other tasks.

**Kareem:**
A cheerful and kind seven-year-old boy.
He loves games and adventures.
He had not yet had the chance to enjoy his new scooter, which he had waited for a long time and never got tired of playing with.
The war took away his school, his toys, and his scooter too.
He cried a lot after being displaced in the first few weeks and kept dreaming that someone would bring him his scooter.
He experienced a severe shock during the war when a house just a few meters away was bombed. He remained silent, watching with wide eyes.
He had started special speech therapy sessions a week before the war due to difficulty pronouncing certain letters and distorting words. But after the shock and increasing fear, his condition worsened.

**Rahaf:**
A small and beautiful two-and-a-half-year-old girl.
She loves playing with her doll, talking to it all the time, and telling it stories of war, death, and destruction.
Her health was the worst during the war.
Due to displacement to several places, ending up in a small tent, she suffered from a severe whooping cough twice during the winter.
Her cries broke the night’s silence, with her sobs blending with the sound of the falling rain.
Unfortunately, the suitable antibiotic for her condition was not available, causing her great suffering.
She contracted hepatitis, her skin turned yellow, she experienced severe pain throughout her body, and she slept all the time.
In the tent, she was bitten by insects, causing rapid allergic reactions and terrifying swellings, with severe itching making her cry hysterically.
She injured her foot while moving between tents, resulting in a fracture that prevented her from moving and playing. Recently, she has rejected her doll and rebelled against everything.

**What Happened to Our Home?**
Our house is located in an eastern area very close to the border. We were forced to leave it on October 7th last year and haven't returned to it since.
We only saw it through photos sent by relatives who stayed in the northern sector.
The house suffered severe partial damage: all windows and doors were broken, some walls were shattered, and others were cracked.
The furniture was severely damaged and is in very poor condition. The house is now abandoned except for cats and rats.

**Where We Are Now?**
We live in a gloomy tent in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The tent burns our faces during the day and we freeze at night these days.
It is very small, almost suffocating, with an area of no more than 3m x 4m.
It serves as a place for sitting, sleeping, and cooking. It is attacked by insects and small snakes, with flies, ants, and mosquitoes everywhere.
Next to it is a small bathroom that sways in the wind, making you hate everything.
We live under harsh conditions, without water or electricity, facing difficulties cooking, washing dishes and clothes, and using the bathroom.

**What We Lost in the War?**
The war took away my support in this world. My dear father was a kidney patient, suffering greatly from fatigue, pain, and moving between hospitals in the sector.
He received dialysis for only 5 hours a week, which was not enough for him. He passed away before my eyes.
I lost my father, and my children lost their beloved grandfather. They experienced the feeling of loss for the first time in their lives. My son Kareem’s words still echo in my ears as he cried for his grandfather, saying: "I want to say goodbye to Grandpa." And my little Rahaf hides things for her grandfather and waits for him every day.
In addition to our stopped work and lost income, all our savings ran out, and my wife had to sell her gold to buy the tent and provide the minimum expensive food and drink for our children.

**What We Need Now?**
- A rented house instead of a tent.
- The cost of food, as the prices of vegetables, meat, and other foods have increased tenfold.
- Drinking and usable water.
- The cost of medicines and treatments.
- Cleaning supplies and hygiene tools.
- Cooking gas, with the price of one kilo of gas exceeding $20.
We need living expenses of $5,000 per month.
The total amount needed for 5 months is $25,000.
**Thanks:**
