If it weren’t for the love and support of our patrons over the last decade, we would not have gone from a fledgling business to a staple in the community. We are YOUR place to come for Great Beer, Great Whiskey & Great Music.
In the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak and Governor Cooper's ban on large gatherings in NC, Freemans Pub is facing the most difficult period in its 10 yr history. With your support during those years, we've survived as a popular music venue in Gaston County and a cornerstone of downtown Gastonia.
We've been fortunate to present the best in local talent, such as 74 Southbound, Rob Williford, The Menders, ANTiSeen, The Abby Elmore Band, Jade Moore, Baxter’s DJ Service, Sonic Tonsil, SkynDeep, Turbulent Society, String Theory, Scandal, Van Huskins, Trash Room, No Anger Control, Corey Hunt, Trent Glisson, The Cartee Brothers, Mike Default and the Rhythm Kings, Stateline Crossing, Kris Atom and Moses Jones. These are just a few of the acts we have been honored to host, and the list goes on over the last decade! We’ve also had the privilege of hosting “Original Songwriter’s Night” to give a platform to even more local talent within our community.
We can’t forget Gastonia’s favorite St Patrick’s Day bash in Gaston County’s ONLY Irish Pub.
If you value independent music and want to help keep it alive in Gastonia, please consider a small donation to help Freeman’s Pub weather this storm until we can open the doors again.
Even though we have no revenue at the moment, our monthly expenses like rent and utilities continue to mount! If we can't keep up, not only will you be unable to see great shows here but we won't be able to put our staff back to work when we are given the green light to open our doors again.
With your support now, Freeman’s Pub will be around for another decade!
Sincerely,
Your Neighborhood Pub
