Save Galactic Theatre: Support Live Music

Well friends, it is long overdue to ask for help to save the musical oasis that is Galactic Theatre... I have put this fundraiser off for the past 3 years with HOPES that we could dig ourselves out organically. The truth is, DEBT and rising expenses have snow-balled into a storm of almost disaster. The darn bridge fiasco has definitely affected us as well as other bars opening in the area. Sorry, it's all true. We continue to have the most affordable menu in the region and the BEST bands and artists around.

We have been more than seeing and understanding why so many venues and small businesses have closed forever recently... results of the Pandemic have been crushing us since 4 years ago. We have hung on and I have exhausted all means of capital including maxing out my own credit cards and taking out numerous loans that are now all WAY behind and late, sacrificing everything as the Dreamer I am...

JUST TO SAVE THE MUSIC.

The current rise in expenses, rent, utilities and our mandatory insurance has almost tripled in cost. Currently 4 months late on rent and more... our Landlord has been so cool but it's time to clear this debt... if you can drop some cash in our bucket via this campaign, we would be eternally grateful.

Some of you know I have been on a few short U.S. tours with my band recently... the tiny money I made ALL went back into paying bills and invoices at Galactic. I am also being forced out of my apartment next month because the owner is selling it as a condo that we could never afford. So, Yeah... when it rains, it pours.

The starting goal is only 10% of what's needed... almost 10 times that amount is what is needed to clean the slate so we can continue to be THE PLACE for LIVE MUSIC in the East Bay and beyond.

WE HAVE SO MANY AMAZING SHOWS COMING UP AND REFUSE TO QUIT as we work our fingers to the bone while climbing a very steep uphill path.

If everyone on our Instagram gave $10 we'd almost have enough to start fresh and do some minimal needed upgrades and repairs.
