SAVE GARNET VALLEY

Donation protected
The Garnet Valley Agri Tourism Association and the city of Summerland and other groups in Summerland oppose the proposed gravel pit mine and want to save our beautiful farming community. Garnet Valley is a historic Native hunting ground area with the Fur Brigade trail going right through it. Traditional farms, cyclists and horseback riding are a common site. The mine jeopardizes many tourism businesses that have invested millions into Summerland, such as wineries, tourist accommodations, traditional farming, Horseback riding ranches. Garnet Valley Road was not designed for heavy traffic and will cost the Summerland tax payers to fix the damaged infrastructure. The Mine Ministry has not listened to the citizens of this community and our last hope is to get a lawyer and go after a Judicial Review. We believe the proper process was not followed and the environment and the citizens are at risk. HELP SAVE GARNET VALLEY. SAY NO WAY! TO THE GARNET VALLEY MINE PROPOSAL
