Save Goodfortune Market After Water Damage

We need help to save our grocery store!
This is truly our worst nightmare. When we arrived to our grocery store on Thursday September 19th, we found water was covering our entire store. When we opened the bathroom door water was spraying everywhere completely soaking the walls. It seems the bathroom sink in our brand new building malfunctioned and the water supply line came apart.
This small fixture made a massive impact on the whole building. You see the water did not just fill up our beloved grocery store. It leaked into all three business effecting the entire building, putting Goodfortune Market, Cast and Grey and The Stacks in the impossible situation of having to close for several days while a team of remediation experts set up fans and dehumidifiers.
We love this community so much and are so proud to start our journey in bringing fresh, quality foods back to Waters Ave. But this disaster puts us in serious jeopardy. The loss of revenue, the damages to our store, and the loss of products from the massive flooding, before we have even made it to our grand opening celebration is a big blow.
All of our goods are perishable, the fans and dehumidifier's have a negative impact on the local produce and fresh bread. We used to think this was a "soft" opening, but this event has made it much, harder.
Help us keep this grocery store in our community!
We are asking for your support. Any amount is graciously helpful at this uncertain moment, while we coordinate our next steps.
We want to stay in this community, and we want nothing more than to bring the happiness of sharing good food, with good folks. By showing your support you can help us recover from this unfortunate disaster.
