Save Gretchen Carroll's eyesight

Gretchen has Panuveitis, a Genetic and Rare Disease which has caused her almost full blindness in her right eye and is now deteriorating her left eye to the point that she hasn't been able to drive, or do her UNO college school work for the past two weeks.
Gretchen does not have insurance because she's a full time student at the University of Nebraska Omaha, and works part time as "staff assistant" in the Native American Studies Dept. of UNO... which doesn't qualify her for insurance and also causes her to make too much to qualify for Medicaid.
Gretchen needs an eye implant that should clear up her left eye for approximately five years... there's no cure as of yet, but it'll keep her from going blind for a little while longer while advances in technology create more aptions... and enable her to complete college and start a career with medical benefits.
Anyone who knows Gretchen Carroll knows she is always helping others and trying to make the world a better place without ever asking for anything in return... I had to convince her to let me create this frundraiser.  Now she needs our help... please donate whatever you can... eyesight is a precious thing most of us take for granted... it's hard to imagine how scary this must be for her right now.
