Save historical Park Hill house from Demolition
Donation protected
One of the last homes of North Park Hill built in the 1900s is slated to be demolished. The house is the last structure left of the Quinn Brother's Dairy farm. The farm catered to the many needs for fresh milk and butter for the residents of north east Denver. The current owning trust has applied for a permit to demolish this wonderful piece of Denver history. This same trust has already demolished the only other building associated with the Quinn farm. The farmhouse is located at 5335 36th Ave. Being a long time resident of the neighborhood, I am trying to raise the funds needed for the application to designate landmark status for this historical Denver building by the city. Landmark status may help put off the wrecking ball on this property. The deadline for the application is very soon, May 22, 2019. If the neighborhood raises some of the funding for the application by May 15 an extension can be given. I am hoping to raise this funding because I believe it would be a great loss for the people of this area and Denver as a whole. I would greatly appreciate the help in securing the funds to submit an application, because without help I will not be able to raise the money for the historical landmark application fee.
