Dear Family, Friends and Howard High School Alumni:
The Howard High School Senior Class of 2021 is in need of your help! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this class has had their junior and senior class proms cancelled in 2020 and 2021. These kids have lost so many opportunities and experiences to celebrate their last year of high school and we are hoping to show them how special they are. The Howard parents are joining forces to put on a COVID-safe prom for the Class of 2021 on FRIDAY, JUNE 4th, at THE HALL, MARYLAND LIVE! The pandemic has not allowed this to be a school sponsored event, so we need to raise prom funds this year. Although we will be selling prom tickets, additional funds are needed to make this is a truly special event for our wonderful seniors. All funds will be used to offset ticket prices, book a venue, offer refreshments, hire a DJ, provide prom party favors and to help employ COVID protection measures. Additionally, funds will be used to ensure that Howard High Seniors who are financially challenged will be able to attend prom. COVID-19 safety practices will absolutely be in place to prioritize the health and safety of all students and chaperones. By popular demand, the Class of 2021 voted on “The Roaring 20s" as their prom theme. This event is going to be the Bees Knees, and we truly appreciate your support and generosity!
