Hello, my name is Ibrahim Hijazi, and I am a devoted father of three beautiful children. We are a family from Gaza, a place that we have always called home. Until recently, we lived a peaceful life in a small apartment, where I worked hard to provide for my family. Our home was filled with love, and our car was a symbol of the freedom we enjoyed as we navigated our daily lives.
But everything we built was torn apart in an instant.
The war has devastated our lives. Our apartment, once a haven of safety, has been reduced to rubble. Our car, which gave us mobility and independence, is gone. Worst of all, I lost my job—the job that provided for our every need. Now, my family and I are displaced, forced to live in a makeshift tent in Mawasi Khan Younis, located in the southern part of Gaza.
This campaign is for the Hijazi family: myself, Ibrahim Hijazi, my wife, and our three children. We are struggling to survive in these dire conditions. Every day is a fight for basic necessities—food, warmth, and security. My wife and I do everything we can to protect our children from the harsh reality we now face, but the situation is overwhelming.
We are reaching out to you, our global community, with a plea for help. Your donations will be used to provide essential support for our family as we work to rebuild our lives. Here’s how the funds will be spent:
- Securing Safe Shelter: Our first priority is to find a safe, stable place to live. The funds will help us secure a small apartment or temporary housing that will protect us from the elements and give our children a sense of normalcy.
- Basic Necessities: We need to provide our children with food, clothing, and other essentials that we can no longer afford. Your support will ensure that we can meet these immediate needs.
- Transportation: Part of the funds will go towards obtaining reliable transportation, so I can seek employment and ensure my family’s mobility in case of emergencies.
- Rebuilding Our Future: With the remaining funds, I plan to invest in finding new employment or starting a small business that can sustain us in the long term. This will enable us to regain our independence and provide for our children once again.
