Save Julius and family from losing the family land

This is Julius and his family. They live in Nairobi, Kenya. Julius is a hard working man. His priority is to give his children good education.

Before COVID, he took a loan from a commercial bank, to start a business. A small shop. Then COVID hit. The business suffered serious loss, and ultimately after two tough years of struggle, he had to close down the shop.

Since 2022, he has been trying to pay back whatever he managed to spare from the family budget to the loan repayment + interest rate. But early 2024, bank management communicated a decision to no longer extend the loan. They gave him 45 days, from the 8/3, to pay back the loan in full, or he will lose his family land that was put up as security for the loan.

This fundraising project is to help Julius repay the loan (approx. 2.500 USD) within the deadline: Monday 22 April, 2024. The remaining amount aims to help him start a new business without having to risk his family land and family’s safety.

I know Julius from my travels. Last time when I was in Kenya he took me safely to the airport in Nairobi, and without any hesitation, paid the hightway toll for me since I did not have any Kenyan schilling left. Julius shows kindness and generousity to others. Now I hope to be able to help him with the same.
