Save Kaiser's Life: Urgent Help Needed

My dear friend Shannon (the Shannon that Bunny is obsessed with), rescued a Rottweiler (Kaiser) a couple years ago. He’s the sweetest, goofiest boy I’ve ever met and he means everything to Shannon. This morning he wasn’t feeling well so she took Kai to the vet. They determined that he was in critical condition and immediately transferred him to a bigger hospital where they discovered that his chest cavity had filled with fluid. They did ultrasounds, X-rays, and panels the. They were able to drain some of the fluid which was mixed with blood. There is potentially a collapsed artery but so far they have been unable to diagnose him. They need him to stay overnight on an IV. Unless Shannon can pay 2500 today, they will send Kai home and tonight could be his last. It is unbearable to think about being in this position. I humbly ask for your support if you have anything to give. I’ve set the goal quite a bit higher because undoubtedly to save Kai’s life will be a much larger bill. Love and gratitude. Hug your ponies.
