Save Kelly from Homelessness

Kelly, a single woman, and her Yorkie dogs Rudy and Tara, are imminently facing homelessness from eviction. She has no family support and has been fighting cancer, went through chemotherapy and 16 major surgeries and is suffering from severe bone loss from the chemotherapy causing multiple fractures and tears throughout her body. Her health issues require multiple weekly medical appointments.

She has been looking for work for months, has depleted her savings, lost her car and possessions, and has fallen behind on her rent. The stress from this nightmare and fear are keeping her up at night, and her dogs are her main emotional support, her “babies”, which she can’t give up. They have helped her immensely through this darkest time of her life.

She has called the homeless services in San Diego and was told all homeless shelters are full and she will need to get on a waiting list, with hundreds of homeless families ahead of her.

Kelly desperately needs your help to avoid becoming homeless and ending up on the street. The money raised will help secure inexpensive housing, food and short term financial stability while she continues to look for work during these difficult times of the Covid-19 pandemic and attend to her health issues.
