Help Us Save a Community Gym with Over 33 Years of History!

For more than three decades, Pat Kennedy's gym has been a powerhouse of strength, perseverance, and camaraderie in our community. It's more than just a gym--it's a second home for generations of members. Many of today's members are the children and even grandchildren of the original group who joined back when the gym first opened its doors. From young atheletes to seasoned lifters, to seniors staying fit and healthy, this gym is a true gathering place for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Pat's gym has a rich history of hosting powerlifting competitions and events, bringing lifters from all around to compete and support one another. It's a "golden-era iron gym"--a place for strength, discipline, and where everyone feels like family.

But the past few years have been hard. Like many small businesses, the gym struggled to stay afloat during COVID, and it was forced to close for a time. Then in 2023, Pat Kennedy--who has devoted her life to this gym and its members--was struck by a severe case of Lyme disease at the age of 77. This setback took a toll, and the gym had to close temporarily, leaving a void in our community. Thankfully, with grit and determination, the gym is back open and running again, but to stay that way it needs a little help.

We're turning to our community to help us raise $20,000 in the next 30 days. This amount will ensure that the gym can continue operating, offering its unique environment, and supporting everyone who walks through its doors.
