Save Kevin's Dream: BOAT RECOVERY FUND

Please help me, Kevin Johnson, owner of this Blue Water boat.

Today, I received a call that my boat had sunk to the bottom of the Hammond Marina. I have been a boater for over 20 years; this is my paradise now on the bottom of Lake Michigan. I am asking for anyone who can possibly donate to help me through this awful experience. I have been notified by the U.S. Coast Guard that I could be looking at fees for pollution control.

I need your help. I am a boater that, if you asked anyone, they would say, "Kevin, he is there whenever you need a helping hand on or off the marina." I never in all my life thought I'd be in so much need of others now. I feel this could end my boating life for good. My wife Cheryl can't believe it happened; today feels unreal, and my boat dreams are underwater. I am worried about my possessions, those items underwater, damages, and costs I will be required to carry out immediate removal and damages resulting from this incident.

Any money that is raised will be used toward paying for the cost of removing the boat from the water and paying to clean up and costs. With your help, "Together we can weather anything."

I don't know what else to do but to pray this will all get better.
