Save Khaled’s Life: A Palestinian Refugee Needs You

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Compassionate Hearts, and Kind Souls,

I write to you today with a heart weighed down by sorrow, desperation, and fear—fear for a life that hangs in the balance. Khaled Abdel Rahman, a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon, is fighting a battle that no human should ever have to face alone. He has been diagnosed with a severe spinal tumor, a condition that threatens not only his ability to walk but his very existence. His only chance at survival is a life-saving surgery, yet the cruel reality is that his family cannot afford the staggering cost of $25,500—a sum that, to many, may seem insignificant but to Khaled’s family, is completely out of reach.

As Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, Khaled and his family live on the margins of society, struggling daily just to put food on the table. They have no rights to healthcare, no government support, and no safety net to catch them in times of need. Even the UNHCR, which provides aid to many refugees worldwide, does not cover such critical medical procedures in Lebanon. Khaled's family is utterly helpless, watching their beloved son, brother, and friend deteriorate while knowing that his life could be saved—if only they had the means.

Khaled is just 15, with dreams, hopes, and a future ahead of him. But without this surgery, those dreams will be shattered, and his future will be stolen away. Time is running out. Every passing day without treatment brings him closer to irreversible damage, closer to a fate that no one should have to endure simply because they were born into hardship.

We cannot let money decide who lives and who dies. We cannot stand by while a young man loses his chance at life because of circumstances beyond his control. Khaled needs us—he needs you.

I humbly ask you to open your heart and extend your hand. Whether through a donation, a share, or simply spreading his story, every effort can make a difference. No amount is too small; no act of kindness is wasted. Together, we can give Khaled the chance he deserves—to live, to heal, to hope.

If you cannot donate, please keep Khaled in your prayers and share his story with others who may be able to help.

May your kindness be returned to you in abundance. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for giving Khaled a chance at life.
