Save Kress Market

For nearly a decade, Kress Market has served the Downtown community with delicious smoothies, fresh produce, and healthy bites. Most importantly, Kress Market has been a safe haven for community organizers, neighborhood activists, and local musicians. The owners, Hilda and Javier, are Long Beach residents who have worked closely with the community to bring about positive change. They have stood with us time and time again. 

Now it's our turn to stand with them. 

On May 31st, their store windows and doors were destroyed. Thankfully, members of the community rushed in to create a barrier with their bodies to protect the store. Their actions were a testament of the love we have for this little store on Pine Ave and 5th St. 

Our goal is to raise funds from the community to help Javier and Hilda fix the store front and rebuild what was broken. 

We need Kress Market to remain a hub for community organizers and local musicians. Thank you for helping us save Kress Market!
