Save LGBTQIA Safe Spaces where they're needed most

As Pride month approaches, Me, Michael and our fundraising partner in crime are excited and honored to team up with our dear friend Victoria Varela and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative to raise money for something near and dear to my heart. Safe Spaces for the LQBTQIA+ community living in geographical areas lacking in the protections we in urban/liberal areas take for granted everyday.
Safe spaces such as LGBTQIA+ centers and organizations have been a cornerstone and life line for the LGBTQIA+ community for years and Covid has dramatically impacted fundraising for these spaces causing many to shut down for good and others desperately needing funding as they reopen.
Safe spaces for community gathering, empowerment, and celebration -like the historic Stonewall Inn in New York City - more often than not exist in large city centers and are rarely found in areas where the daily stigma of being LGBTQIA+ is more prevalent. This is why it is more important than ever that we help members of our community in areas that lack many other Safe Spaces and where they are a lifeline to their LGBTQ community members.
This year, through its official nonprofit charity, the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (also known as SIGBI), The Stonewall Inn will be helping raise funds and awareness for the Borderland Rainbow Center in El Paso Texas, Just us in Nashville Tennessee, The Magic Center Acceptance Center in Birmingham Alabama, The Utah Pride Center in Salt Lake City and the Kansas City Center for Inclusion as they start to reopen.
These centers provide much needed services including mental health resources, Food Pantries, youth services, HIV services, Programs for LGBTQIA+ seniors and a safe and affirming place to gather with other community members. It is imperative that they stay open and fully funded and they need your help to ensure that happens.
Your donation will ensure that these centers can physically reopen with the resources they need to continue to do the important work in their local communities.
Jägermeister is a proud partner of The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative. As part of their #SAVETHENIGHT Global Initiative Jägermeister is matching donations up to $25,000 to help raise funds for LGBTQIA+ Safe Spaces.
