Save Lives in Northern Nigeria: Donate Now
Tax deductible
Aminatu (above) starved to death last month. There is a crisis across Northern Nigeria. Food prices are skyrocketing, causing families who were once able to provide for their children to now be faced with days on end without a meal. Children are dying at an alarming rate.
My name is Gina. I met my best friend Yvette while I was serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa. It was her dream to make education accessible to girls in her village. The nonprofit we started originally focused on doing just that, but now children are dying all around us and we can't look away.
Given the crisis, our team began using local ingredients to make an emergency therapeutic food used by Doctors Without Borders. This high-protein supplement can bring a dying child to a healthy weight in just three months.
For just $375, we are able to provide lifesaving nutrition to a malnourished child, connect them with care at a local health center, AND help their mother launch a small business to provide for the family. Every dollar donated here will go directly to saving lives of malnourished children and empowering their families.
How often do you have the opportunity to directly SAVE A LIFE? Anything you can donate will make a difference. Your donation is tax-deductible through the charity Philanthropic Ventures Foundation, the fiscal sponsor of our nonprofit Bright Minds Africa.
No child should starve to death in 2024. Thank you for joining us in helping as many children as possible survive this crisis.
All my gratitude,
Gina
