Save Lola: A Veteran's Service Dog in Crisis
Donation protected
**UPDATE AS OF 8:50pm 11/18/2024**
they have run blood tests for Lola and have found she has pneumonia and a dangerously elevated liver enzymes with kidney stones and a uti. They have her hooked up to oxygen and IV medications + fluid and will be keeping her for AT LEAST over the night. Prayers for my baby girl Lola for strength and health would be deeply appreciated !!
My name is Mikayla. I am a disabled veteran on a very limited income. I have a service dog, Lola, who is in critical need of veterinarian care. Lola has been my baby/service animal for the past 4 years now, and she is my rock.
This morning when I woke up, Lola was unresponsive and foaming from the mouth. She then began to seize. My partner and I rushed her to the pet ER in Orcutt, CA, but the charges for the care are too pricey, and we cannot get the care she needs. We went around to other vet offices but still had no luck finding a payment plan or a credit company that would accept us. My heart is in shambles as I write this, and I’m praying that my baby will get the help she needs and will be better. Please don’t feel like you have to donate, I know times are hard for everybody. But my baby and I would appreciate anything to help her get the care she needs! Thank you
