Hello friends, family, Bay Area residents.
Our names are Ket Trinh (husband) and Oanh Trinh (wife)
On the morning of Tuesday, October 29th, our Lucky Seven store was burglarized for the 12th time over the course of 5 years.
We have been running this store for the past 26 years serving the Oakland community.
Time after time, our store has been hit, our gates have been ran through, walls and ceilings being broken, product and money have been stolen. This store is our baby, our means to live, what helps put food on the table for our family.
It is extremely difficult to manage a business in the city we love as these burglaries to happen to us while I (Ket) also have medical conditions and going through dialysis, which is taking a big toll on my mental health, my physical health, and my family’s well being.
We are in dire need to get our store being rebuilt hopefully for the last time to recoup on our loss on inventory, funds lost. Any amount helps.
Your kindness and offering are much appreciated.
