Save Ludpig Van Beethooven, Freckles & Velvet

Hi my name is Gem and this is the story of how I came to rescue some pigs and why I need money to build an enclosure and have them neutered and spayed.

It was a sunny day, like any other, and I was driving down one of our local Lockyer Valley country roads when I came across 3 pigs on the road. Standing right in the middle of the road, I was unsure what to do other than stop my car of course.

After blocking the road for a little and me having no service to call anyone they then ran off into the bush.

I continued up the road a little when I saw a ute leaving a local property and I asked "Are you missing some pigs?" .. he replied yes and insisted I should have run them over and that he was probably going to turn them into bacon.

Of course, my instant reaction is, can I have them and keep them from being turned into bacon instead?

Due to him not being a farmer himself, The pigs constantly escaping and them being an annoyance to him, he said yes and I called upon a friend to help me transport them to our property.

These pigs are going to get Big and are currently chilling out in an empty chicken pen. So we need to build a pen ASAP!

We also need the pen to get the male neutered. Who knew this cost $650 per pig, we didn't

Velvet the third pig has not yet been rescued but we are still trying to save her.

Please help with any donation you can big or small. We have reached out to larger rescue farms who can't accommodate them and they say the best thing for us to do is keep them.

I believe these pigs came into my path to be saved, we just need a little financial support to make that happen and stop there from being even more pigs breeding from these ones. Thank you all so much for any donation big or small.. also increased it to cover the Gofundme cut of donations
