Save Megatron: Urgent Surgery Needed

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for help with our sweet 6-month-old kitten, Megatron. Despite her big, tough name, she’s the most lovable little girl who fills our days with endless cuddles, playful antics, and non-stop purring.

She has already been through so much in her life and we are trying to make sure it doesn't come to an end too early. We got her when she was just a baby, between 4 and 6 weeks old and she broke her leg 3 weeks later. She took on a counter that was way too big for this little girl. She was so resilient and healed so quickly. But she's facing even worse now.

Recently, Ms. Megatron hasn't been acting like herself; no more curious kitty or spicy kitty mode at night. She hasn't been eating or drinking, and she's been throwing up. We knew something was wrong and it wasn't just some small bug. We took her to the vet yesterday and it turns out she either has a mass (tumor) or an intestinal birth defect that is causing a blockage. Without surgery, this little girl is going to pass.

As any pet parent knows, vet bills can add up quickly, and I want to make sure she gets the best care possible so she can grow up happy and healthy. We are taking her for a second opinion today, but the emergency vet was clear that she needs surgery which will range anywhere from $3500-5500.

We just got a call back from her home vet and their cost is $2500-3000 so we don’t need as much! We are already 1/3 of the way there.

All funds will go directly to her vet bill, there is nothing that will be withheld.
