Save Mount Tabor Cycle and Skate

Our neighborhood bike shop has seen a lot in the last year. Trade war, supply chain breakdown, pandemic, wildfire smoke and deep freeze. On top of all that, we owe $16,000 in back rent. Furthermore, the landlord did not give enough time to raise it, and is suing us for it. This is a failure of our leadership. If you can't donate, there are other ways to help. You can contact Governor Kate Brown. You can reach out to our state senators and representatives. You can call your Metro councilor. Please tell them businesses need more time to pay back the pandemic. They can vote for House Bill 2966 with the Dash 1 amendment, which gives us six more months of time. They could extend commercial eviction moratoriums. I would appreciate that as much as anything. No matter what happens, I know you have lots of choices in Portland of where to take your bike.
