Save Mr. Baby's Life

Mr. Baby is my 13 year old chihuahua, who just had a check up last week at the vet. He was fine but was prescribed some anti itch medicine for his hot spot and medicine to keep his heart murmur in check. The medicine makes him drowsy but never to this extreme.
We just moved from Cincinnati to Chicago and i know the move is a lot for anyone but he was completely normal last night, just drowsy. This morning he was very low energy, and vomited. He was becoming increasingly less reactionary. He refused to eat. Anyone who knows Mr. Baby knows that if you ask him literally any question, his head pops up and he listens very intently, usually followed by jumping and barking.
He was resting on my pillows when i noticed his tongue hanging out of his mouth more than usual. His tongue was dry and stuck to his lips. I came over to wet his dry mouth and thats when I saw his swollen tongue, he couldn't hold it in his mouth.
I called the emergency vet immediately and was there within 10 minutes. I am so grateful for their quick and immediate response.
Mr. Baby is on oxygen right now and was given a shot of Benadryl, but unfortunately the swelling isn't going down. He is being kept over night, requiring a minimum balance of $2,500.
I'm supposed to call the vet at 5am to see his progress, if all goes well, he will be ready to come home by 7am tomorrow.
If it does not go accordingly, he will be transported to specialized facility and that could cost upwards of $4,000. The last estimate i received (if he has to be transported) is set at $3,800.
I don't know what the future holds, he's helplessly on oxygen right now. All I want is Mr. Baby to survive this, he is such a good boy, he is my best friend, I can't lose him this way.
