Help Muhannad Secure a Future for his Family in Gaza

As the second eldest in the family, Muhannad has been forced to make choices for his family that no young person at just 17 years old should have to make. Due to the war in Gaza, he has had to bear the responsibility as the primary provider for his mother, father, brother, and 4 younger sisters.

My name is Lauren and I am an educator and mother living in California. I came to get to know Muhannad through social media, where he asked for my support as a total stranger, while his family suffered greatly. In addition to living in a war zone, his brother and sister both have medical conditions which require them to take medication. They have been living on canned food due to the high price of fresh food, and have spent many nights fearful due to the military planes flying above them. They are truly living in a nightmare and need our support to provide their most basic needs.

I have confirmed his identity and the legitimacy of his situation through identification, videos, photos, and talking to him directly. Many people in Gaza are struggling to provide their most basic needs, but have nobody to fundraise for them since their family and relatives are also in occupied territory. Furthermore, GFM does not operate in Gaza, which is why he required a sponsor to create this page and fundraise on his behalf.

For transparency: It is difficult to get funds to people as they are living in an active war zone. Funds will be transferred via PayPal and Binance to his family to provide basic needs, including food and water, as well as medicine for their medical conditions. Muhannad's older brother had brain cancer and continues to require treatment. At this time, resources are limited and therefore prices for food are unbearably high. It is also typical to have to pay fees and commissions on funds they withdraw.

Funds will be used to buy supplies (necessities for cooking), food, water, medicine, passports, and clothing.
