My Brother's Only Kidney at 10percent

My name is Vanessa Gonzales, i open this to share with close family member and friends.

My 45 year old brother Jorge Luis, who has a 12 year old son and a family. My brother was born with only one Kidney. As time passed by his kidney started to function less, from last year

to this year he went from 25% to 11% of functioning.

The doctors offered him the Peritoneal dialysis (PD)

and it has many risks of infection and damaging other organs, as he is young, they said they would start

this treatment as last resort because of the risks and consequences it brings. On the other hand, they said

he has to pass certain exams and receive treatments, shots, pills, taxes, etc. BEFORE BEING ACCEPTED

IN THE WAITING LIST (which goes from 1-3 years of waiting).

We need prayers, deep heartfelt prayers for my brother Jorge Luis Gonzales Forero. He needs all the help spiritually he can possibly gather.

Please support us in this, as much Spiritual help as we can unite. I strongly believe in miracles, i have faith, so much faith for him to survive this and become even stronger. For himself and his family.

The doctor mentioned if he has any heart condition or stress, he might not survive it.

Secondary, commonly happens through Advanced Kidney Disease.

This is all intended to go to my brother and the expensive treatments, exams, medicines he needs to be accepted into the waiting list, and for the surgery to happen we will see later on how much more it is.

We have some issues with timing, as time is running fast and we need to take actions.

Mi nombre es Vanessa Gonzales, aperturo esto para compartir con mi familia cercana y amigos. Voy a ser lo mas directa a la principal intencion en lo posible.

Tengo un hermano de 45 años, quien tiene un hijo de 12 y una familia. Cuando mi hermano nacio, el nacio con solo un riñon. Conforme ha pasado el tiempo, este ha ido disminuyendo el porcentaje de su funcionamiento, desde el año pasado a este, se redujo de un 25% a un 11%. Los Doctores le han ofrecido el Dialisis Peritoneal it contiene muchos riesgos de poder entrar en emergencia si entrara una bacteria y perjudicar otros organos, es por eso decidieron tomar esta opcion como ultimo recurso debido a los riesgos que conlleva. Por otro lado, dijeron que el tendria que aprobar ciertos examenes y recibir tratamientos, inyecciones, pastillas, impuestos, etc. ANTES DE SER APROBADO E INCLUIDO DENTRO DE LA LISTA DE ESPERA ( que oscila entre 1-3 años de espera )

Necesitamos rezos, profundos desde el corazon para mi hermano Jorge Luis Gonzales Forero. El necesita toda la ayuda espiritual que podamos reunir. Apoyanos por favor, cuanto mas apoyo espiritual podamos reunir. Yo firmemente creo en los milagros, tengo fe, tanta fe de que sobrevivira todo esto y sera mas fuerte. Para el mismo y su familia que lo amamos tanto.

El doctor menciono que si tuviese algun problema o estres cardiaco, podria no sobrevivir.

REPORTE MEDICO DEL PACIENTE:

CONDICION: ENFERMEDAD RENAL CRONICA - NIVEL 5 (el mas avanzado que hay)

Niveles de proteina anormales, forsforo elevado, niveles de creatinina en la urina severamente incrementados, Deficiencia severa de Vitamina D, Hormona paratiroidea Aumentada (sugiere Hyperparatiroidismo como Secundario, usualmente viene a traves de la enfermedad Cronica del Riñon)

Todo esto es intencionado para mi hermano y sus gastos excesivos medicos, medicinas, etc. para que el pueda entrar en la lista de espera y no pase mucho tiempo pues su vida esta en riesgo. Veremos mas adelante exactamente cuanto sera la cirugia de transplante apenas consigamos (que es posible sea yo u otro miembro de familia que sea compatible) solamente tenemos cierto apuro pues el tiempo es crucial en este momento y debemos tomar acciones.
