Haytham needs your help to support his family

The following letter is from my best friend and his family in Gaza. My name is Mahmoud Abu Jayyab and I live in Canada. Since GoFundMe isn't supported in certain countries, my friend asked me to organize it from Canada. The letter:

Hi my name is Haytham , a Palestinian intern dentist living in Gaza with my family and I'm reaching out for support to get with my family members out from Gaza. we've endured treacherous conditions and unimaginable hardship for nearly about 85 days. Every day that we remain in Gaza is the terrifying reality of us not surviving the next bombing. As conditions worsen, our lives are threatened daily by the random airstrikes! this is an urgent plea for help.

My home was completely destroyed and raised to the ground, we were forced to relocate to southern Gaza with only the clothes on our backs. We have been suffering from fatigue in providing the simplest necessities of life, no clean water, no electricity, no internet, and insufficient medical care since the beginning of October. We have witnessed destruction and death all around Us many times, heard the constant explosions of bombs day and night, been exposed to white phosphorus dropped down on us and lost every last thing we own. we fled under the shells and the sounds of bullets that were all around us, During our escape, my little brother, who was not yet nine years old, was lost and we did not know where he was. Our tears and our fear of losing him at that moment, I cannot describe it in a few words. It was a very difficult situation, but thank God we found him after that. I lost my aunt and cousin as well as my best friend.

We lost everything we have That is besides the emotional and psychological toll from which we may never recover.

I'm reaching out to raise funds that will allow us to escape from these disastrous conditions. all we need is to relocate to a safer place outside of Gaza and away from this deadly danger which we are exposed to every time. we are being asked to pay about $7500 per person to be allowed to leave Gaza to live in peace all we need and wish is to live in peace away from all these random bombings and airstrikes.

Update:

We are psychologically suffering and exhausted by what the war did to us. The war has not ended yet, the killing and genocides are still ongoing.

We are trying to rebuild our lives with the help of this fundraising campaign. The funds we are seeking will cover essential life expenses such as rent, life necessities, clothing, food, education, transportation, and the significant cost of obtaining a life.

We lost our home because of the war, and even after it ends, we still won’t have one.

I have initiated an update of this campaign with the aim of supporting my family’s life after these tragic times. Your contribution can make a meaningful difference in our life, even $1 can make a change to our life.
