Save My Little Buddy

My Little Buddy has a blockage in his urinary tract. The vet said they can save him but it will cost almost $1000, maybe more. They can put him down for $170. He is otherwise in good health. I don't want to lose him. He just turned a year old. My boyfriend, Sherwin, brought him home on Dec. 7, 2017. I didn't want a cat but I promised Sherwin I would take care of him. He was found on a rainy night by a lady walking her dog in Cinco Ranch butt she couldn't keep him, having four dogs, she was stretched to the limit. Her daughter worked with Sherwin and as soon as he was done with work that day he drove to Katy to pick him up. Buddy was about four weeks old.
Sherwin died in January. He lost his breath on January first, was revived by the EMS, only to have lost his brain function. He died after nine days in a coma. I tried to save him but failed.
I made that promise to him, not knowing what the future held. Still I have kept my word and have taken care of Buddy with the help of my daughter, Sarah.
We now need help to save Buddy. I can't afford this on my own.
The funds will be used only for the vet bills. We are currently getting a second opinion but it looks to be the same.
I would be so happy if you could help me to save Buddy. I feel like he has part of Sherwin in him. I love him so. Thank you for reading this and I hope you can help.
