Save Native Americans

Native Americans have been disproportionately affected by Covid-19 due to the inadequate healthcare system, malnutrition, access to clean water, lack of governmental funding, environmental racism, and systematic eradication. And now they are being left out of the US coronavirus data by being labeled as “other”. In Arizona alone, 16% of reported coronavirus-caused deaths are attributed to Native Americans whilst they comprise 6% of the population. Their elders, who are the bedrock of the community, are being decimated by the infection. This would erase their culture, including languages and centuries of ceremonial knowledge.
