Help Nicolas Zamudio Move, Pay Rent and Afford Medicine
Donation protected
For 2 years, Nicholas "Zam" Zamudio has been struggling to survive.
After losing his high-paying a job following a workplace accident, he was put on disability, which provided a meager sum of money that allowed him to continue paying for health insurance while he awaited a lower lumbar surgery, which he was only able to get after waiting for two years.
In the interim, he developed severe nerve damage and was prescribed opiates to help deal with the crippling pain, which led him into a severe dependency that's nixed his ability to work and live a fulfilled, pain-free life.
In about a week, Zam's health insurance will expire and he will be evicted from his apartment in Midtown Manhattan, where he lives by himself. The medical expenses have drained what he has left in his savings, and so he'll likely be forced into homelessness by these dire circumstances in the near future.
Please help if you are able.
