Save Nome, the Gold Dredge mascot
Hey y’all! Meet Nome, the most lovable gold dredge pup in the history of offshore gold diving! Nome has been a faithful sidekick to Rick, one of my kick ass gold divers, is nine years old, and is a Nome rescue doggy. Anyone who has met Nome is instantly charmed by her enthusiastic yelps of joy, her love of the water, and her boat snuggles.
This spring, Nome was diagnosed with an aggressive form of B-cell Lymphoma. She is spry as ever, going on long hikes with her dad to find mushrooms, and is still full of puppy smoochesand love. However, she needs a strict regimen of chemotherapy to tackle this cancer, and it is prohibitively expensive.
Rick is about to fly up to Nome to join us on our gold hunting mission for the summer season, so it’s difficult to cover the costs of this treatment before gold has been mined! Please consider donating to this cause! To know Nome is to love Nome, please help us keep her healthy!
