Save Norman’s life ❤️

Hi, my name is Norman. I’m a 12 month old Mastiff X puppy from Staffordshire. My mommy and daddy rescued me 4 months ago. I was in a terrible state, I was very malnourished and weak and I only weighed 10kg, when I should have weighed 45kg! Since then, I’ve come on leaps and bounds, I’ve gained 14kg! I get to go on walks and sniff nice things; I’ve made lots of new dog friends and I have a best friend- my big brother Barry. My favourite thing in the whole world is food.. and bones!

Sadly I’ve been quite poorly recently, and have been struggling to walk and even stand. I kept falling over and collapsing. I went to see the doggy doctor and he said I have a very serious condition called hip dysplasia, and it is severe. This means my hips aren’t formed properly. My hips have no hip socket whatsoever. The doggy doctor said my only hope of survival is to have a hip replacement at a doggy hospital in Liverpool (major surgery) otherwise I will have to go to rainbow bridge as it is such a severe case. But I don’t want to go to rainbow bridge yet.. I’m still a baby and have so much more love, licks and sniffing to do. Unfortunately, the operation is estimated to cost £12000. I have pet insurance but this is limited to £6000. Mummy and Daddy don’t like to ask for things ever- but they love me so dearly they would do anything not to lose me. Please help if you can.
