Save Nurse Samah's family escape war & famine

Donation protected
Hello, I'm Giulia from Italy, I want to collect donations to support Samah and help her family to survive and, if possible, to get out of Gaza

Hello World , it's SAMAH.

Please read this as if I'm a member of your family . maybe your sister, daughter or a friend and as if my family who's under death now is yours .

My name is Samah, a 21-year-old student from Gaza with a dream and a heavy heart. I write to you today with a story of sorrow and hope. My dream has always been to become a nurse, an “angel of mercy,” dedicated to helping those in need. But now, that dream seems so far away because of the war that has turned my life upside down. I was in my third year of medical school, just a few steps away from becoming a nurse. I was interning at a local hospital, gaining the skills I needed to realize my dream. But the war shattered everything. The university and hospital where I studied were destroyed, and with them my chance to continue my education was lost. I am now the primary caregiver for my family, which includes my mother, three sisters,The war has taken everything from us—our home, our security, and any hope for a better future. As the cost of living in Gaza soars, we struggle to afford basics like food, which has increased tenfold in price. I turn to you, kind people around the world, with a simple request: Help us rebuild our lives. With your generous support, I hope to raise enough money to escape the harsh realities of life in Gaza, finish my education, and build a new life for my family.Once we are safe, I plan to start a kindergarten or some other project that will provide us with the means to support ourselves and allow my sisters and I to complete our education. That project requires a capital of approximately $50,000. In addition, sponsored the fundraising campaign. I never imagined I would be in this situation, asking strangers for help. It’s embarrassing and difficult, but my family’s future depends on it. Every euro, dollar or pound you contribute brings us one step closer to safety and a new beginning. Your donation could be the reason we escape the shadow of war and hardship. It could be the reason I become a nurse and fulfil my dream of helping others. It could be the reason my sisters get the education they deserve. Please, if you can, donate to our cause and help us find hope and safety. Share our story with your friends and family, and help us reach as many people as possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity and belief in a brighter future for us.

These images tell the story of our home a place that once brought US warmth and unity. After enduring over 12 years of homelessness, we finally bought this house through painstaking installments and cherished it for just two short years. In the third year, just as we made our final payment, our joy was cut short. Our beloved home was destroyed, leaving us completely homeless once again. Here are some pictures that capture the heart-wrenching before and after.

This war has not only destroyed our physical home but also shattered our educational foundations. It has shattered my university where I study completely, along with the graduation hall where I had always imagined myself walking proudly with my certificate. This day was a dream for me. My siblings, who were once eager to embark on their educational journey, are now standing at a crossroads where the rubble of war obscures their paths to learning and growth as we

In Gaza, my homeland of dreams, the scene changes permanently due to wars, as war takes more from us than can be imagined. Yet we still strive to rebuild our shattered lives amidst the rubble.

In the aftermath of the recent devastating events in Gaza, these photos serve as a stark testimony to the harsh reality we currently face. The shots reveal the effects of the airstrikes on our old home, our new home and our own building. The photos not only show the physical destruction but also embody the deep emotional impact on our lives. As we navigate through the ruins and remnants of what was once our refuge, our dream, and our source of livelihood, the world witnesses the indelible impact of the conflict on innocent civilians. It is a painful reminder of the urgent need for assistance and support as we strive to rebuild our shattered lives amidst the ruins of what was once a vibrant community.

As we face harsh reality, this fundraising campaign is more than just a plea for help; it is a call for collective support and an opportunity to unite hearts in rebuilding what war has torn apart, whether rebuilding the walls we live under or rebuilding souls that feel peace in Egypt.

My grandmother, a resilent 67-year-old woman, has faced unimaginable hardships. A stroke left her paralyzed and dependent on others for basic care. Amid the relentless conflict in Gaza, she has suffered from severe dehydration due to the scarcity of food and medicine, exacerbated by her multiple chronic illnesses. Her struggle is a poignant reminder of the human toll of this crisis.

_My Mother:_ A pillar of strength, selflessly caring for us after losing her partner. Her unwavering love and guidance inspire me to keep going, even when the road ahead seems uncertain.

_My Little Sister Jana:_ A bundle of joy and hope, spreading love and positivity with her playful spirit and helping hands. She reminds me that even in darkness, there is always light.

_My Sister Lamis, 14:_ A talented artist whose passion was put on hold due to war. I see the longing in her eyes to pick up her brushes again and create something beautiful

My Sister Weam, 19:_ A dreamer whose education and aspirations were delayed by war. I admire her determination to succeed and shine, and I know she will make a difference.

In the northern Gaza Strip, our struggle extends beyond conflict. with no gas for cooking, we've resorted to using firewood, a task that is far from easy. The hardship of collecting firewood is just one part of our daily challenge

Moreover, the scarcity of essential supplies is dire. Fresh vegetables, fruits, and other foodstuffs are nonexistent. We rely solely on flour and the occasional canned goods, which are both rare and prohibitively expensive. Our plight is a testament to the severe conditions we endure every day

#The funds collected will be carefully allocated for the following purposes:

  • Firstly, it will contribute to providing a safe passage to Egypt, which is a vital step for the family’s safe
  • Secondly, the funds will be allocated to provide temporary accommodation for the family in Egypt, giving them stability and the opportunity to explore the best path for their future.
  • Finally, it will cover initial living expenses in Egypt, granting the family the time and space needed to relax and rebuild their lives after the ordeal of the genocide in Gaza.

The cost per person to evacuate from Gaza is between $7,500AUD - $10,500AUD. To cover all the 9 family members we need at least $67,500AUD minimum. The remainder, approximately $5,500AUD if everyone can cross the Egyptian border for $7,500AUD per person, is to cover expenses living in Egypt and to start to rebuild their lives.

Please join me on this journey to rebuild not only our lives but also our laughter, memories, and the promise of a better tomorrow.

Your support is not just a donation; it is an investment in reclaiming dreams and rebuilding lives that war sought to dismantle.

Thank you for being a beacon of hope in these difficult times and this challenging situation.

With gratitude,

Samah Abu Aser and her family
