Save Ophelia: Urgent Help Needed for FIP Treatment
Donation protected

Please help us save Ophelia! Ophelia is a 1.5-year-old kitty that is dearly loved. She suddenly fell ill this month and was rushed to the vet. She has an accumulation of fluid in her abdomen and is uninterested in eating or drinking. The vet believes she has FIP, which is 100% fatal without treatment. The vet recommends the fluid to be drained while we await the medication. Ophelia’s first tests have cost over $300, and the fluid removal is estimated to start at $500 but may reach over $1000. The injections she will require are estimated to cost over $1000. The vet hasn’t treated FIP herself yet and has to specially order this medication for Ophelia to begin treatment, but I cannot order the medicine unless I have the payment ready. I’ve already exhausted the funds I had to get her into the emergency vet and get her original testing done. She will require many more trips and bloodwork if we are able to get this treatment for her. It’ll be a long 12-week estimated treatment of injections. Ophelia means the absolute world to me, and I want to do everything possible for her, but I was denied Care Credit, and there isn’t another payment plan available. I’m trying desperately to gather funds to start her on treatment before it’s too late. Please consider donating if you are able to.
