Three years ago, I met Orion (originally named Friday) at the vet where I take my dog. As he roamed around the clinic, he chose to walk into my room, and from that moment, it felt like fate. Curious, I asked the vet techs about him, and they explained his heartbreaking story: Orion had been taken from a home where he was severely neglected, only to be abandoned in a carrier on the clinic’s doorstep. Despite everything he’d been through, he was so full of life and love. Hearing his story, I couldn’t walk away—I knew I had to give him the home and care he deserved.

Orion has been such a bright spot in my life, and I truly believe that every animal deserves a second chance at happiness and love. That’s why it’s so hard for me to share that Orion is now facing a life-threatening urinary blockage. The cost of treatment is overwhelming, and without it, he won’t make it. I feel heartbroken and helpless that I can’t afford this on my own.
