Save Orion: Urgent Surgery Needed
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart to share an update about our beloved kitten, Orion. Recently, he had an emergency surgery after eating a piece of my home gym mat, which caused a life-threatening obstruction in his small intestine. Thanks to the help of a wonderful vet team at Beach Animal Urgent Care, Orion was able to get the surgery he desperately needed on 2/14/2025, and he is now recovering.
However, the cost of the surgery, totaling around $5000, has left us with a financial strain. As a recent graduate and with my partner still working towards her teaching credential, our income is currently limited. We're doing everything we can to keep up, but we’re asking for support to help cover these unexpected expenses.
If you’re able to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to us. If a donation isn’t possible, sharing this post with others would also be incredibly helpful.
Orion is a cherished member of our family, and we want to ensure he has the best chance at a full recovery. Thank you so much for your kindness and support during this challenging time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ahmed
