SAVE OUR BATS AND HOMES ON ABBEY ESTATE

I live on Abbey Estate, Thetford.

Breckland Council have decided to sell all our greenspace on our estate for £1 to Flagship for them to demolish our homes, take our driveways, garages and gardens. We will then have to pay for parking and if we're lucky they'll slap a new front on our houses which we will have to pay for!! They want to cut down all the trees to make way for all these monstrocities!! We have a lot of wildlife in our estate which is now in danger!! We have a large population of bats that live and feed off insects on the estate. We are raising money to put a minimum of 500 bat boxes on houses on the estate, this will help the bats thrive and at the same time help us to save our homes as the bats are protected.
