Save Our Best Friend’s Home: A Legacy in Need

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you today. Our best friend, Brendan, passed away suddenly in November 2023, leaving behind a home he built from the ground up with love, dedication, and countless hours of hard work. This home, nestled in County Wexford, is more than just bricks and mortar; it is a testament to his spirit, dreams, and the life he lived.

Brendan was a person who touched many lives with his generosity, kindness, and unyielding spirit. He poured his heart and soul into building his dream home, a sanctuary that stands as a symbol of his perseverance and creativity. This house is not just a structure but a piece of his legacy that we want to preserve.

Tragically, with his sudden passing, the financial burden has become overwhelming. The bank is now moved in to take over the home, threatening to erase this significant part of Brendan's life. We cannot bear the thought of losing this cherished place, the home that he worked so hard to create. I am committed to saving it, not just for myself, but for his family and everyone who loved and admired him.

I am humbly reaching out to you, seeking your support to raise the funds to cover the outstanding bank payment, legal fees and repairs now needed at the home due to it being left unoccupied for 6 months, to keep Brendan's dream alive. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring us one step closer to saving this home.

This is more than a house. It’s a lifeline to memories, a place of solace, and a tribute to a remarkable person who gave so much to those around him. I want to continue Brendan's legacy by preserving this home, and I cannot do it without your help.

If this campaign is successful in saving our best friends home, we will honour as many donor's a physically possible with an invite to a celebratory gathering in honour of the man who made our life so special and the man we miss beyond words.
