Save Our Children - Enumclaw

Welcome to our fundraising campaign, $40 for 40K, aimed at raising $40,000 to create a legal fund to reverse the placement of Sexually Violent Predators in a Less Restrictive Alternative facility in Enumclaw, Washington. The facility, which houses the "Worst of the Worst" Level-3 Sexually Violent Predators who are considered to be a high risk to re-offend in the community, was controversially placed on a property in rural King County outside of Enumclaw, in a neighborhood filled with children, a school bus-stop directly across from the facility, and without any public notice to those who live nearby. This has drawn organized opposition from the local community, who argue that such facilities need to be sited in areas where children are not likely to congregate. Our legal team aims to shut this facility down and then continue to assist other communities that could suffer the same fate. The safety of our community is necessary for healthy living and we endeavor to prevent the placement of sexually violent predators in areas where our children are put at risk.
