Save Our Eagle Scout Projects with New Water Well
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Edward Carr and this is my best friend, Cash Kartaltepe, and we are Eagle Scouts in Troop 256 in San Antonio, TX.
For our Eagle Scout projects, we worked together to address hunger in our neighborhood. Cash built a community garden that everyone can use. I built a community fruit orchard that everyone can harvest from. Right now, my trees are blooming, so I expect we'll have a small fruit harvest this year for the community.
Our projects depend on water from a well that just stopped working and now needs to be replaced. Stevens Drilling and Waterwell Services has given us an at-cost price to replace it. We need to raise $3,637.71 before the Texas Summer starts. The drought will kill my new trees.
On behalf of Resurrection United Methodist Church, who gave us the land for our projects, we are starting this fundraiser for them. They are a small congregation of about 15 families who mostly are elderly. So, they do not have the means to replace the well.
So, Cash and I have started doing odd jobs to start raising money and we have started a GoFundMe account to help them replace the well and save the community garden.
Or, you can contact Stevens Drilling and Waterwell Service in La Vernia, TX and make a donation payment directly to them.
Please help us help our community so no one goes hungry.

Thank You,
Edward and Cash
