An urgent plea from J&K:
A few months ago, due to various medical conditions, surgeries, and other various things, we became set back one month on our rent and have been in that situation for the past few months. As a result, we are facing eviction and the inability to renew our lease unless we can come up with $1600 today.
As you can tell, I procrastinate until the very last second due to my misplaced pride and belief that I can conquer anything. I'm not asking for a handout, but I'm asking for a helping hand up. If you could, please contribute whatever you can, and if we exceed the amount necessary, we will save it up as a further cushion, but if you need payment back later, we will be happy to reissue it to you.
I'm ashamed to have to rely on human kindness, and please realize I'm not sitting on my ass idly by. I'm pulling overtime today, as well as selling off a horn and various other assets. A person I've admired for many years recently advised I need to more fully realize that "What is, is." I take this to mean despite circumstances, I am still who I am. And I am fighting. Thank you so much for your consideration, and please do give what you can.
