My daughter's fur baby Leo, and my dog, Hunter were let out of their property by trespasser/s last night, along with my dog, Hunter.
Approximately 11.30 pm.
6am we gave up looking for them. 9.30am received phone call that Leo had been found in a ditch by passing motorist, with Hunter refusing to let anyone touch his stricken mate.
Upshot is that Leo was taken to the vet and the vet bill stands at $3800 and climbing.
My daughter's family are finding it difficult at the moment.
The family with 3 children are devastated.
I hope that people can find it in their hearts to help this young family, even in these desperate times for everyone.

Both dogs have been found. One is in a serious condition after being hit by car. At Vet now. The other is at another vet. Not sure, but I believe not as serious.

Thank you all for your support.
It has been a very distressing 10 hour following the discovery of Leo after being hit by a vehicle.
Leo has had CAT and MIR scans as well as the general clean up of his injuries.
We have learned that:
He has a broken Femur just above the knee on back leg.
Several fractures in his Pelvis
Bruising on one lung.
General Body bruising.
A surgeon will inspect the knee tomorrow and we need to weigh up the benefits and side effects of an expensive operation and how his life will be in the future.
